I feel the music as an essential expression of myself, as well as breathing…awareness and instinct existing together.

Music to me is a place where people can reveal themselves without filters, I frequent it avoiding any discrimination of genres and musical form but, on the contrary, picking up anything that triggers my sensitivity.

I learned how to play many instruments: classic and electric guitar, piano, synthesizers, various flutes, some African percussions…
Anytime I come across an interesting sound I try to learn how to reproduce it.

I play the Celtic harp for over twenty years, an instrument which paradoxically pushes your being creative by introducing a lot of restrictions and leading you to walk unexplored paths to bypass them.

I am intrigued by the new technologies applied to sound and music, by what is known as Sound Design and by anything that could bring them to unexpected and unthinkable soundscapes.

Whenever I work as an Artistic Producer I like managing imperfections, let them become the strong point instead of a defect.
Whenever I work as a composer I like spending hours, even days, in finding the balance between the very first bars of a piece of music, convincing me to carry on with the writing.
I like partnerships, sharing and articulating my ideas to somebody else, letting them grow as the sum of different points of view.

I performed with artists such as Francesco de Gregori, Lucio Dalla, Nomadi, Massimo Bubola, Arona n’Djaye, Secouba Bambino Djabaté, Taffa Cissé, Gavin Harrison, l’Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana (Pavarotti & Friends ).

I conceived with Giulia Staccioli the show “Livingston beyond the limits” for Kataklo’ Athletic Dance Company developing the dramaturgy and composing the original soundtrack.

I co founded the movement DIVERSIDACHI which aims to professionally help the musical talent of disabled kids.

I composed the original soundtrack of the theatre play “Terra” commissioned by Teatro Settimo of Turin and of the theatre play “Biosphera” Festival Inteatro of Polverigi.

I created the sound design of many art installations, many of which have a common focus on the environmental issue.

I am the Founder and the Artistic Director of WALKING TREES Human Eco Rock Opera  a project involving music, theatre, nature and science which aims to awaken everyone’s conscience and to lead people to rebuild an ethical behavior in respecting our environment.

I’m developing with Giulia Staccioli a specific soundtrack for KAB   Kataklò Aerial Barre, in which the sound impulse itself to become an integral part of the physical gesture.

Both as citizen and as artist I am devoted to the environmental issue for many years.
